The ICT's have come to be one of the main pillars of society and today it is necessary to provide citizens with an education that takes this reality into account. In my opinion the educational possibilities of ICT's have to be considered in two aspects: their knowdleges and uses. The first aspect is a direct consequence of th culture of the actual society. The world of today cannot be understood without a minumum of informatic culture. It is precise to understand how it is generated stored, transformed, transmited and how to acsess the information in it's multiple manifestations (texts, images, sounds) if we don't want to stand apart from the cultural currents. We need to try to participate in the generation of this culture. The second aspect is more technical even though it's very related with the first. The ICT's must be used to learn and teach. Learning any subject or hability can be easier through ICT's and, in particular, through internet, applying the right techniques. Getting this task done correctly is very difficult. It requiers a great effort from every teacher involved and an important planning and coordination job from the teacher's team. For students it is very motivating because for example, in my case when we use ICT's in math class, students pay more attention sice you can use more resources besides the chalk and board. Some of the ICT resources that have been used ih class are for example: moodle, geogebra, youtube, websites, blogs...
